Hi.
I got baptized today. Neil Walker, the head of Christian Challenge did the dunking for me. I am so happy now. I was going to say giddy, but it is running deeper than that. This is the sure and steady happiness, though quieter and gentler, called joy.
Some of you (Ho'o) may remember my getting baptized 3 years ago during the summer. I was thinking about it and my life since then, and I realized that at that point I was not really walking with Christ, nor do I think I had any clear idea of what it meant to give your life to Christ in the first place. Since first hearing the gospel in the last months of my senior year of high school I have gotten to know Christ personally, and have accepted his payment for the debt of my sins and have REST in Him and LIFE in Him. I follow Him now: there is no where else I can go since I have tasted the life that He gives me. There is no life anywhere else: He is my Lord, He is my Boss, where He leads I will follow because I know He leads me to greener pastures and clearer waters where I can walk FREE with Him forever.
